Judicial Questionnaire

The Oregon Judicial Diversity Coalition is comprised of the Oregon Asian American Pacific Bar Association; the Oregon Chapter of the National Bar Association; OGALLA-The LGBT Bar Association of Oregon; and the Oregon Hispanic Bar Association. Judicial candidates may apply to the OJDC for judicial endorsement. Application materials can be found at the respective webpages of the OJDC member organizations. Links to all of those webpages are available here.

OMLA does not serve on the OJDC as a voting member but offers its own Judicial Questionnaire for completion by Oregon judicial candidates.  The purpose of the questionnaire is to educate individual OMLA members about the candidates who seek a judicial appointment or election.  OMLA supports diversity within the judiciary but does not make recommendations to its members regarding which judicial candidate to support nor does it give organizational endorsements.  However, OMLA encourages all judicial candidates to complete its Judicial Questionnaire as the responses to the questionnaire will be made available to its members.

Note: The information submitted by candidates is provided as a forum for OMLA and its members to learn more about judicial candidates. However OMLA reserves the right to exercise editorial discretion for length, content and inappropriate language. All information will be published at the discretion of the web page editor. We reserve the right to remove content at any time.
